Leadership Training Program for the Capacity Building of Heads of 26 Govt School adopted by the esteemed Faridabad Navchetna Trust!
The Principals of various Govt. Schools got together under one roof to attend the Capacity Building Orientation Programme hosted by MRIS- Sector14, Faridabad under the aegis of Navchetna Trust and under the guidance of Mr. D. C Choudhary, former DPS SSA.
The orientation programme began with the icebreaking session wherein all the Principals came to know each other well, which eventually helped in the smooth and interactive functioning of the session. The first module was taken up by Ms. Mamta Wadhwa on the topic ‘Art of persuasion and the interpersonal skills’. She very effectively explained the various soft skills such as Effective Communication, Listening, Questioning, Manners, Problem Solving, Social Awareness, Self Management, Maturity, and Assertiveness. She gave the audience various situations to understand as to who is an effective persuader.
Mr. Sanjay Srivastava, MD, MREI and Vice Chancellor, MRU spoke on the topic, ‘Education and role of Educator’. He emphasized that the educators should be knowledge generators than mere knowledge distributors. He related his speech with Bhagwad Geeta. He explained how teachers are great learners and also impressed everyone by giving various ways of becoming Extraordinary from Ordinary.
Communication, Skill, Credibility, Trust and Competence were the main agendas which were beautifully explained with daily life examples by Mr. Nitesh, who is a pioneer member of Career Development Centre of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions. Post lunch the session was undertaken by Mr. Rajiv Chawla, a famous motivator, and President of Faridabad Small Industries Association. His session on the topic ‘Mindset’ was also extremely impactful.
All the participants were also keenly involved in Sports and tried their hands in Shooting, Badminton, and Table Tennis etc. It was indeed a fruitful session for all of them which will surely help them become true leaders in the future.
